*SAYS THEY PUBLISH FAKE STORIES ABOUT HIM ON PRINT.
‘ALL HIS INTERNET NEWS STORIES ARE TRUE’- MEDIA GURU
The embattled government candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial race in the state Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has urged the general public to desist from reading news items on the pages of Newspapers about him, noting that, ninety nine point nine percent of the items published on the pages of Newspapers are fake.
The Secretary to the State Government appears to be uncomfortable with his media team and sycophantic supporters who consciously ridiculed his ambition by subjecting him with inanimate object such as Photosynthesis, Domestic, Mango tree etc.
It will be recalled that, some of the articles about Udom Emmanuel published on print bear titles such as; ‘Udom: A mango tree with many branches’, ‘Akwa Ibom gets Udomesticated’, ‘Udomsynthesis’, ‘Udom Emmanuel: 365 days to assention’, ‘Udom: Behold the next governor’, ‘Udom is Right’ among others.
Udom, while sounding strong warning to his sycophantic supporters and imposed media crew at the Methodist church, in Uyo. Wondered why some riff raff should be tarnishing his image on the print media. Hear him, ‘Don’t mind what you read on the newspaper about me, 99 percent are not true except my name’.
Reacting to this assertion, a political scientist, Mr. Jonah Sampson said that Udom was too clean to mingle with these crops of ‘vocabulary owners’ who are bent on describing him as extinct objects. According to him, ‘As soon as I started reading some write-up such as UDOM EMMANUEL: A MANGO TREE WITH MANY BRANCHES, I knew it was fake, so I am not surprise with SSG’S submission on those sycophantic contents. It is left for the general public to discard such articles and anything found on the pages of Newspapers’.
Also speaking, a media guru who did not want his name on print said that, through the SSG’s comment, it is obvious that, internet stories about him are true as he did not describe them as fake. ‘Since he did not described those items published about his persons on Facebook, Twitter, Yahoogroups and other social network as fake, it implies that they are all true. But any news about him that has been published on the pages of Newspapers before being sent to the internet is fake and malicious. So discard all those articles on Udom is Right, Udom: 365 days to assention, Mango tree with many branches as fake news items’ he maintained.
Pastor Sunday Ituen however wondered why Udom was described as a Mango tree with many branches, noting that, a branch of mango tree is too fragile to lead and complement the developmental strides of the governor.
It appears that the SSG may either probe or dissolve his imposed media team for writing fake news items on print.
