Akpabio sacks three commissioners and a special adviser


Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, on Monday, sacked three commissioners and a special adviser in a minor cabinet reshuffle.
This was contained in a statement issued in Uyo by Aniekan Umanah, the Commissioner for Information and Communications.
According to the statement, the minor cabinet reshuffle is with immediate effect.
Those affected are the: Commissioner for Transport, Austin Mbeh; Economic Development, Sunny Anyang; Commerce and Industry, Martins Udoinyang, as well as Samuel Frank, Special Adviser, Sports and Youth Development.
According to the statement, the governor expressed appreciation to the former members of the State Executive Council for their services to the state.
“The governor also wished them success in their future endeavours,’’ it said.
